Completion of trio of European renewables projects ahead of Wind Energy Hamburg event

Leading controlled flow excavation specialist James Fisher Subsea Excavation (JFSE) has successfully completed three projects at European wind farms this month.

Experts from the company are this week at Wind Energy Hamburg, Hall B7 Stand 635 from 25th to 29th September 2018, alongside fellow James Fisher Group companies discussing with delegates how its market-leading range of tools, unparalleled experience, unique technologies and Excavation Plus package are benefitting clients by increased time and cost efficiencies across a range of subsea excavation requirements.

The recently completed projects are:

  • Cable and joint trenching in the Baltic Sea for a world-leading energy and cable system provider which included boulder clearance and trenching to 1.6m. As part of the Excavation Plus service, JFSE supplied its T4000 Ultra Low Draft tool with patented central jetting system, vessel, mobilization engineering, positional survey, bathymetric and cable tracking and project management services.
  • Multiple cable repairs in the Irish Sea for a world-leading energy and cable system provider. Utilising the Excavation Plus  offering, JFSE supplied its Twin R2000 Ultra Low Draft tool, multiple support vessels, project management services, project crewing management, air diving services, subsea cable cutting and recovery equipment.
  • Fibre optic cable trenching in very shallow water in the North Sea world leading subsea cable service provider. JFSE deployed a team to manage the service through its SP6000 Ultra Low Draft tool.

JFSE has successfully completed more than 100 projects in the renewables sector.
